Founder Luna Feerhan launched Legendairy Milk in 2015 to provide supplemental nutrition to new moms struggling with breastfeeding. Since then, the brand has expanded on that mission, striving to be the gold standard for products and services geared toward birth, breastfeeding, and beyond. With nearly one million followers online, Legendairy Milk has built a trusted community around both education and health to support women throughout every stage of motherhood with high-quality products and expert-backed resources.

Challenge

As Legendairy Milk rapidly scaled, two major things became apparent. They had a strong opportunity to deepen customer relationships and recurring revenue through their subscription experience. Unfortunately, a stagnant loyalty program with limited integration into their customer journey held them back.

 

While they had an existing rewards program powered by Smile.io, it lacked the advanced functionality needed to connect subscriptions (powered by Recharge) and loyalty into one seamless experience. Key features that help bolster retention and extend lifetime value were missing.

With Bubblehouse’s subscriptions and loyalty capabilities, Legendairy Milk launched Legendairy Rewards. Built on Bubblehouse’s flexible platform and native Recharge integration, the program connected every part of the subscriber journey into a single, fluid experience with a unique rewards structure tailored to Legendairy Milk’s customer needs.

High-value rewards for new subscribers

To accelerate subscription adoption, Legendairy Rewards offers 60 points for starting a subscription, in addition to a 15% “subscribe and save” discount. The combination of savings and rewards delivers immediate, high-perceived value and gives customers a reason to commit long-term.

VIP status for subscribers

Every great loyalty system includes a mix of offers to create the perfect reward structure. For Legendairy Rewards, this meant tiered rewards where subscribers automatically gain access to the “Queen” tier, unlocking exclusive perks without needing to meet traditional spend thresholds. This approach turns subscription enrollment into an automatic upgrade, increasing perceived status and brand affinity from day one.

An intuitive and highly visible loyalty journey

With Bubblehouse’s advanced functionality and flexible platform, Legendairy Milk turned their loyalty vision into a reality—delivering an improved experience that’s easy to use and deeply integrated across the customer journey.

Streamlined redemption to increase usage

The redemption process was completely revamped. Legendairy Rewards now features an intuitive points slider where members can view their available rewards and choose how much to apply to an order. Bubblehouse’s deep integration with Recharge allows points to be applied to subscriptions with a single click, removing friction, boosting redemption rates, and making loyalty confusion a thing of the past.

Multiple touchpoints for program visibility

Legendairy Milk wanted their loyalty program to be visible throughout the customer journey, not buried in a tab, footer, or rewards link. With Bubblehouse’s flexible platform, the brand implemented loyalty across key touchpoints to drive adoption and usage, including:

  • Product page: Each product page displays the number of points that can be earned by purchase, and logged out members are prompted to sign up and start earning rewards.
  • Account page: Logged in members can view their loyalty status and redeem rewards directly from their account.
  • Checkout page: Members can redeem available points at checkout with just one click.

Timely, relevant communication to keep loyalty members engaged

Together with Bubblehouse partner agency Flowium, Legendairy Milk launched a full suite of triggered email and SMS communications, powered by Bubblehouse’s Klaviyo integration, to keep members informed, motivated, and engaged. Flows include:

  • Welcome to loyalty
  • Referral share / success flows
  • Monthly points reminder
  • Points expiration reminder
  • Birthday reward notification
  • New VIP tier reached notification
  • Points / free product redeemed notification

A gamified loyalty experience

Legendairy Milk’s new loyalty system also taps into Bubblehouse’s voting functionality, giving customers an experiential reward opportunity. Members can vote on future product launches, providing valuable input while earning engagement points. This approach deepens emotional investment while supplying the brand with zero-party data to support advanced segmentation and personalization.
